Waiting in Miami...
After two very nice flights from Des Moines to Chicago, and then to Miami, I am now here, and officialy checked in all legal and proper for my overnight flight to Santiago. It is now nearly 5:30 here EST, and my LAN airlines flight leaves at 8:30. I plan to get a few of the Zzzzzzzs I have missed out on, the last few days, but still eat dinner, and a light breakfast on Tuesday morning before we land. We arrive there about 6:00 AM and will go directly to our hotel to rest, shower, and take it easy for a few hours. In the afternoon we have a city tour of some kind, and a welcome dinner in the early evening. After an early breakfast Tuesday morning we get on our chartered LAN flight to Usuhaia, Argentina that will take about 2-3 hours. We have a luncheon cruise on a catamaran kind of boat down a long stretch of water going from Usushia out into the ocean below Argentina. The 150 mile long natural water way is called the Beagle Channel (no I don't know why! Early that evening we get on our ship the National Geographic Explorer and away we go! There have been no Neal Armstrong sightings yet, but he must be here in this airport somewhere! Time to post this before battery gives out. More later I hope!
